Meet Jennifer – A Heart for Compassionate Care
For over 20 years, Jennifer has served her community as a devoted geriatrics-licensed practical nurse working alongside residents, clients, and their families during life’s most tender transitions. Whether that be recovery from unforeseen events, surgical procedures, organic disease process, or end-of-life caregiving. Jennifer started as a certified nursing assistant at the age of 19 and built the foundation for her career based on compassion believing in whole-person treatment and a passion for helping people. In her twenty-plus years of experience, she noticed the lack of warm heartfelt care in standard settings and she wanted to bridge the gap between aging in facilities and aging gracefully at home. With her experience, she can provide competent care that would be given in a standard LTC setting all while continuing to live at home.

Inspired to bridge that gap, she traded her career as a geriatrics nurse and found Bearing Light Home Care — a sanctuary for those who need support but need extra help in order to age gracefully at home.
Jennifer believes true care blends standard care with a soulful presence which has inspired her to extend beyond traditional nursing and get back to the roots of caregiving, hands-on supportive care to help people in the community when they need it most. Her team reflects that philosophy, offering:
-
Gentle guidance for families navigating aging or illness
-
Practical support rooted in 24 years of experience in SNF and LTC
-
Affordable care that honors every stage of life
